Aerotek CNC Machinist in Agawam, Massachusetts

Description:

We are currently hiring CNC Machinist for both our day and overnight shifts. In this role, production consists of serving the aerospace and medical industries.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Performing set ups

  • Running and trouble shooting machinery

  • Holding tight tolerances

  • Performing inspections on all products

  • Candidates must have strong skillsets and at a minimum of two years of experience with CNC Milling or Lathes

You will be responsible for performing very complex work, must be okay with wearing many hats in our facility, and communicate with our engineering team consistently. You will also be expected to complete paperwork, maintain safety regulations, and report defective materials or processes. You can expect exposure to small to medium sized aerospace components and must be open to adjusting our customers demands.

Hours:

Day Shift: 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday- Friday

Overnight Shift: 5:00pm - 6:00am, Monday- Thursday (20% differential)

  • Swiss Machinery

  • Trouble Shooting

  • Light Edits

  • Zeroing out a machine

  • ITAR
