Apps Associates LLC Training and Documentation Specialist in Acton, Massachusetts

Description Overview:The Training and Documentation Specialist will be responsible for assessing, designing and delivering customized training documentation as part of client projects across all Apps Associates service offerings (Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, IMS, etc.). In addition to supporting multiple client projects, this individual will work closely with the Change Management and Training Practice and the PMO on executing internal Apps Associates initiatives.Specific Requirements:This individual will be responsible for defining customer documentation requirements; defining course topics and outlines and developing and editing course materials following a standard format.This individual will work closely with both Apps Associates and client subject matter experts, project delivery teams (both onshore and offshore) and other designated individuals to determine specific training and documentation needs.This individual will use creative methods and tools to meet training content development and deployment requirements.As applicable/needed, this individual will design and develop internal Apps Associates content based on planned offerings.In this role, the Training and Documentation Specialist is expected to:Identify customer requirements.Define / determine topic outline.Develop and/or edit project documentation including but not limited to test scripts, training user guides, session presentations that will be used in either in-person or online delivery.Collaborate with Apps Associates functional project team members, offshore resources, managed services team members and technical development teams.Assist with growing the Change Management and Training Practice offerings.Required Qualifications:Excellent verbal communication, writing and editing skills. A writing sample will be requested.Excellent teamwork skills with a strong desire to build the Apps Associates Change Management and Training Practice to serve our clients.Bachelors Degree in Communications, Writing or Education-related discipline, preferred.Experience in developing training content using various tools / applications.Proven experience with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Word.Preferred Qualifications:Experience developing training content using Adobe Captivate and/or TechSmith Camtasia is a plus.Experience in delivering classroom training for both small and large groups.
