Brockton Hospital Program Manager in Abington, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

In collaboration with the Medical Director, oversees all aspects of program administration and operation, including oversight of grants projects, strategic planning, personnel management, public relations and the integration of Hospital Based Addiction Services, the Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) program and Signature Medical (SMG) Group Addiction Services.

This is a full-time 40 hour/ week position

Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with various departments of Signature Healthcare

    Program Implementation and Infrastructure

  • Maintains oversight of various SAM initiatives.

  • Oversees timely roll-out of initiatives, ensuring deliverables are met, and reporting to funding agencies is completed.

  • Develops and implements all guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all government regulations, as well as maintaining alignment with the organization mission.

  • Works to ensure timely and accurate data collection and to maintain a data management system. Compiles statistics and uses data to determine status of program activities.

  • Assists with administrative tasks including, but not limited to: letter writing, e-mail correspondence, preparing documents, spreadsheets and presentation slides.

  • Supports clinical training team as needed with administrative needs.

  • Functions as a liaison with Bureau of Substance Addiction Services ( BSAS) for administrative aspects related to grant funding and meeting deliverables.

  • Participates in weekly staff meetings, and other meetings, trainings, as needed.

  • Engages with all departments to support collaboration and communications.

  • Builds additional relationships with community service agencies.

  • Assists with staff on boarding, orientation, compliance, trainings, and schedules.

  • Conforms to hospital standards of performance and conduct, including those pertaining to patient rights, to ensure that exceptional customer service and patient care may be provided.

  • Utilizes hospital’s behavioral standards as the basis for decision making and to support the hospital’s mission and goals.

  • Follow established hospital infection control and safety procedures.

  • Perform other duties as needed/assigned.

    BASIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/APTITUDE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Must be able to reasonably make appropriate judgment in communications and actions with patients, physicians, other associates, outside agencies, and vendors.

  • Ability to provided leadership and coordinate the work of a team of assigned team members.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to be detailed oriented in all notes and documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in areas such as grant management, training, teambuilding, program development/management, problem solving, and community building.

  • Ability to analyze needs and apply resources effectively to meet those needs.

  • Ability to achieve targeted results through motivating, mobilizing, and delegating to others.

  • Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Internet and web page usage/updating, social networking and other technologies that can be used to further carry the program’s mission.

  • Demonstrated skills in the provision of services in a multicultural environment.

  • Bilingual skills preferred.

  • Education: Requires a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) with an emphasis in human services, education, public administration, social work, or community development.
