Join our Specialty Care Medical team as Head of U.S. Medical Immunology and you’ll provide inspirational and strategic leadership to the US Medical Affairs Immunology team (Medical Directors, Medical Science Liaison Managers, MSLs & Medical Operations Manager) by cultivating a culture of teamwork and collaboration to ensure the delivery of key priorities, while attracting, developing and retaining top talent.

Main responsibilities:

• Establish Sanofi as a leader in Immunology, in partnership with an Alliance company encompassing the therapeutic areas of Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory & Allergy.

• Lead the development and execution of an integrated Medical Plan (Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Education, Medical Communications and Publications, Health Outcomes, Safety and Clinical Research (Dupilumab and Itepekimab)) and annual budget for Immunology products.

• Ensure strategic and cross-functional alignment across the organization to achieve the Medical mission of supporting safe and appropriate use of all immunology products.

• Provide impactful medical strategy and expertise to Clinical, Commercial, Market Access and Regulatory partners.

About you

• Experience : Significant experience in Medical Affairs Launch and Life Cycle Management activities. Strong track record in developing and executing medical strategies in the US. Strong people management experience.

• Soft and technical skills :

• An entrepreneurial spirit with an executive presence.

• Knowledge of clinical development and life cycle management. Scientific acumen.

• In-depth understanding of the scientific method and ability to apply this information for business needs based on medical and scientific rationale.

• People Leadership. Ability to engage and leverage team members’ strengths. Set high standards and expectations, communicate proactively, collaborate and provide meaningful feedback, coaching and support.

• Relationships and Influence. Effective internal and external stakeholder management, politically astute and role model cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.

• Education : Advanced degree in a scientific discipline: MD, PhD or PharmD. Clinical Experience and Board Certifications a plus.

• Languages : Must be fluent in English and possess superb written and verbal communication skills; fluency in other languages is an advantage.
