CODAMETRIX Software Engineer (III-IV) - Node/Typescript in Boston, Massachusetts

The Software Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering. The engineering team is responsible for the technical implementation of our award-winning products. The goal of the team is to produce adaptable, robust, secure products that delight our users.
The Software Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of software, and is accountable for ensuring the technical quality of our designs and software. Responsible for the delivering and monitoring of software products in production, and communicating with the team about ongoing issues.
Responsibilities
Develop high-volume microservices, with a focus on performance and reliability
Produce technical documentation, software, and supporting test code
Coordinate with other developers in testing of integrated code components, and coordinate with QA testers in resolving discrepancies between software specifications and application behavior
Sustain existing functionality via technology updates and functional enhancements
Participate in all team activities, including agile ceremonies and reviews of other engineers designs and code
Requirements
5+ years of development experience in an agile/scrum environment
5+ years of experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
Experience with AWS (S3, IAM, SQS, Cloudfront)
Monitoring and optimizing databases with APM tools like DataDog
Knowledge of testing methodologies; including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Experience working in a startup / fast paced environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills with both management and peers
Bachelors in Computer Science or similar program
Beneficial Experience
Statistical background and/or exposure to ML techniques and programming
Experience in developing SaaS healthcare solutions, (HL7, FHIR)
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
