As part of the Thermo Asset Management Services (AMS) division, you'll work with an onsite team dedicated to one single customer. You will work directly with them to help them achieve their goal of changing patient's lives.

How will you make an impact?

Drive excellence in key customer account asset management program in laboratory setting by facilitating and improving the service delivery flow process and providing outstanding customer service.

Location : Andover, MA

Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

What will you do?

  • Escort lab instrument service vendors to work sites and provide locally required trainings to such service vendors.

  • Work with external vendors to provide maintenance planning and scheduling.

  • Provide follow up on work orders and ensure field service reports are retrieved and uploaded in a timely manner.

  • Assist with handling lab asset service contracts

  • Quote processing support.

  • Thermo Fisher Resource Center and Cloud 4 Service support- adding, removing, updating assets, reviewing entitlements, etc.

  • Purchase order support.

  • Perform lab asset inventory reconciliation activities in the computerized maintenance management system.

  • Provide compliance and quality system management support to help ensure the LIS group is audit ready every day.

  • Maintain a continuous improvement approach and identify process improvement opportunities.

  • Maintain intermediate to high digital literacy vital to access CMMS work order system, update equipment history and access material inventory management system.

  • Communicate clearly, understand and acknowledge verbal instructions, and be able to read and interpret work from drawings, written work orders, sketches, blueprints, and technical manuals.

  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate work with other teams for various support requirements.

  • Maintain professional and customer focused relationships with team members, internal and external customers and service providers, and building occupants

  • Align with all company policies and procedures and enforce company standards.

  • Manage multiple vendor and onsite relationships effectively to meet and exceed site critical metrics

  • Play an important role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance and reliability of equipment, machinery, and critical assets

  • This position requires strong coordination and teamwork skills, as the individual will work closely with vendors, engineering, operations, and production planning teams to coordinate the completion of all preventive maintenance (PM) activities and calibrations for their assigned area.

  • Ensure adequate record-keeping for each completed PM or calibration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure equipment availability for maintenance activities, as well as pre and post-maintenance activities.

  • Work toward continuous improvement mentality and identify LIS process improvements.

  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as requested.

Education

  • High school diploma required

  • Degree in a life science field preferred

Experience

2+ years relevant experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Required to read, write, and speak Englis

  • Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Four-I Values

  • Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to take care of various levels of personnel at the customer site.

  • Must deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

  • Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet expectations as needed.

  • Must be proficient with a computer and the Microsoft Office suite of software.

Working Conditions:

  • May work in and around laboratory environments

  • May pass through areas where chemical based allergens may be in use

  • Will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at a customer location.
